PhD candidate in agronomy with a focus on plant breeding. From the Russian State Agrarian University in Russia, he earned an MSc in agronomy with a focus on biotechnology, genetics, and selection. Additionally, he has a Bachelor of Science in agronomy with a major in genetics from the Russian St. Petersburg State Agrarian University. Likewise, he is pursuing an MA in economics (Information and Communication University, Zambia).
Mr. Mhango has substantial professional experience and practical corporate management knowledge spanning over 20 years. In addition to being an expert in company management, he is an agronomist and agricultural economist. District Livestock Officer, Assistant Dairy Manager, Senior Crop Production Consultant, Senior Agricultural Officer for the Ministry of Agriculture Zambia, Senior horticulture trainer, and agricultural officer are among the jobs he has held. He is currently the acting principal of the Lusaka AgroTech Institute. For agricultural value and chain suppliers, agro-industrial projects, and small industrial projects, he has successfully performed a number of feasibility studies using his professional knowledge. In negotiating and carrying out business deals, he is quite skilled. Furthermore, Mr Mhango can communicate quite well.
