Personal Information

Dr Shangxin Song received a doctoral degree in food Science from Nanjing Agricultural University in June 2016. From Feb. 2014 to Feb. 2016, she visited the Nutrition, Metabolism and Genomics Group in Division of Human Nutrition in Wageningen University (the Netherlands). From Aug. 2016 until now, she has been working in the School of Food Science in Nanjing Xiaozhuang University and teaching undergraduate courses of food nutrition. Her area of research is meat food quality and nutrition with a special focus on the physiological effects of meat proteins. Her researches have been supported by several fundings from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the government of Nanjing city and Jiangsu province. She has published several research papers on this area in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Molecular Nutrition & Food Research, Journal of Proteome Research and other journals.
