Personal Information

Currently, I am the Vice Dean at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sulaimania, specializing in Microbiology. in addition to teaching at the College of Veterinary Medicine/the University of Sulaimani, I am a member of the Veterinarians Syndicate and Manager of the Private Laboratory (Micro Vet Diagnostic Lab.).

My first employment was at the University of Sulaymaniyah / College of Veterinary Medicine as a teaching assistant in 1997, I was teaching courses in poultry management Anatomy I and Anatomy II. I also participated in various committees at my college. My master’s degree in microbiology began in the year 2000, and after obtaining my master’s degree in 2004, I became the head of the microbiology department, and at the same time I began studying for a Ph. D. in the year 2005, and while studying for a doctorate, I contributed to the giving of lectures on microbiology in the faculties of dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and veterinary medicine, and in 2014, I became an assistant professor, and in 2016 I became a professor, Besides my experience with educational management, I supervised many MSc and Ph.D. students in the field of Microbiology, Poultry Diseases, and Food Hygiene. I published more than 25 scientific papers, two books, and 4 chapters in national and international journals. In the private laboratory, we use devices like (PCR, ELISA, Culture of Bacteria, etc., to diagnose animal and poultry diseases, as well as supervise more than 100 fields of poultry in different regions.
