Dr. Muhammad Atta Ul Zia has completed his DVM (2013) and M.Phil. (2017) from University of veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore and is currently leading a one-year ACIAR project “Impact of Covid-19 on access to markets and/or services by smallholder small ruminant farming families in Punjab” at MNSUA Multan. Objectives of the project are to identify and highlight the Impact of COVID-19 on access to markets and services by smallholder small ruminant farming families, any ongoing presence of these structural changes, and socio-economic losses to smallholder small ruminant farming families across 5 Districts of Punjab province. He has also worked as Master trainer in USAID DRDF Dairy project for 2 years where he has trained more than 3000 farmers in South Punjab (2013-2015). At University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore (UVAS), he has worked in ACIAR Small Ruminants Project as Senior Area Advisor Punjab for 4.5 years (2018-20220, where he was Involved in Co-designing, planning, execution and leading field and research activities with small holder farming communities across different Districts of Punjab and Sindh
