I am Dr. Amna Sahar, working as an Associate Professor at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan. I did my MSc in Food & Nutrition from University of Rennes 1 France, and PhD in Food Engineering and Technology from Agrocampus Rennes, France. I did my Post Doctorate research in Meat Science and Technology in Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ashtown, Ireland. I have published more than 40 scientific papers having more than 200 Impact Factor in international journals (LWT-Food Science and Technology, Food Research International, Meat Science, Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, Foods etc.). I am running seven national and international research projects from different funding agencies. My area of interest is Meat Science and Technology. I have expertise in advance analytical techniques including spectroscopy and chemometrics. Two PhD and 35 MSc (Hons.) students have completed their degrees under my supervision. At present, I am supervising 5 PhD and 7 MSc (Hons.) students.
