Dr. Rao Zahid Abbas (DVM, PhD): Head of the Department of Parasitology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad-Pakistan. Dr. Abbas is also serving as Editor of Pakistan top impact factor Journal, Pakistan Veterinary Journal (Q2, IF 1.803). He has honour of being former Principal (2014-2016), University College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Dr. Abbas has presented his work in international events in more than 23 countries. Dr. Abbas has almost 400 publications in his credit including 8 books. He has also brought a great name to academia by commercialization of his research based product Bio-Dewormer with industrial collaboration. Dr. Abbas has received many research awards for his excellent performance. Dr. Abbas is the first Veterinarian who has been decorated with Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Gold Medal Award to recognize his services.
